Edy Mottini
Edy Mottini was born in 1943 in Piotta. His family moved to Altanca and then to Airolo (1949).
He went to school in Airolo and Bellinzona.
He is a civil engineer, a teacher of physical education, visual education and technical drawing. He teaches adult classes.
He loves sports and for over 40 years he has been a monitor in the Airolo School of Gymnastics and the Airolo Ski Club. He is an instructor of the Airolo Swiss Ski School.
He is very interested in art and painting and taught himself the basics when he was young. He attended long-distance courses in France and participated in a number of meetings with GAT (Gruppo Acquerellisti Ticinesi [water-painters of Ticino]), in Giubiasco.
