St Gotthard National Museum
The museum is on the pass, 2100 metres a.s.l., and uses modern technology to explain the long, hard struggle of men in an inhospitable environment, their fight for freedom, for keeping control over the pass and their desire to improve and develop this location that is so important for commerce.
