Schnuppertag SPV - Mountainbike im Rollstuhl in Airolo Pesciüm
The Ti-Rex Sport Association, in collaboration with the Swiss Paraplegics Association, organizes for the second time a day of mountain biking in a wheelchair in Airolo Pesciüm.
Participants have the opportunity to choose the route that best suits their desires and characteristics using the Cimgo or the Explorer, the latter with pedal assistance, along about ten kilometers and for a difference in height of over 500 meters.
The ascent by cable car from Airolo will allow you to make a descent in the morning and one in the afternoon. At noon the participants can enjoy lunch in Pesciüm at the renovated restaurant la Stüa.
The aim of the association is to stimulate the greatest number of people with motor disabilities to the practice of IMPENSABLE SPORTS.
Our "mission" is the organization and management of outdoor sports moments such as monoski, dualsci, explorer and wakeboard addressed to people in wheelchairs.
Why Ti-Rex Sport?
In Ticino and in German-speaking Switzerland there isn't this kind of offer yet.
