"A true athlete" - Michelle Gisin's book for sale here
After Dominique Gisin’s sensational downhill gold at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, Michelle Gisin won the alpine combined four years later on 22 February 2018 at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
Michelle is the first ever female Olympic champion from Switzerland in this discipline.
Her path to gold was anything but smooth – especially during the 30 hours leading up to the race, which unfolded like a thriller novel. On her journey to Olympic gold, Michelle was coached by her sister Dominique and sports psychologist and mental coach Dr Christian Marcolli.
The fact that this achievement is almost unique in sporting history – siblings managing to win two gold medals in an individual sport at the Winter Olympics – has inspired the three protagonist to tell their moving and emotional story.
