Avalanche safety workshop (13.01.2024)
A course open to all winter mountain goers, ski tourers, freeriders and snowshoers.
We are pleased to offer you a theoretical and practical training course to recognize the dangers of snow in off-piste and ski touring. Thanks to our Avalanche Training Center (ATC), our guides will teach you how to properly use your equipment (Barryvox, shovel, probe) and basic rescue techniques.

Program:
08.30 - 09.00 Ticket pickup (at ticket counter No. 1 at the starting station)
09.00 - 09.10 Climb to Pesciüm with the cabin
09.15 - 11.45 Theory on search techniques (Pesciüm)
11.45 - 12.30 Lunch (Risorante la Stüa)
12:30 - 15:45 People search exercises (ATC center in Pesciüm)
16.00 End of day
Course fee: CHF 140 (lift and lunch included) / With Ski Card Leventina: CHF 130 (lunch included)
Shovel, avalanche transceiver and probe rental CHF 30.
Registration by 11.01.2024
Equipment: Winter clothing, backpack, ARTVA device, shovel, probe. Skis or snowshoes are not required
Participants: minimum 6 - maximum 8
Technical guide: Matteo Leuzinger (UIAGM mountain guide) and/or Mattia Dotta (Aspiring UIAGM mountain guide) and/or Armando Bodeo (Aspiring UIAGM mountain guide)
