The emotion of cycling in the snow

A descent on a wide wheeled bike in the company of Leo Puntener, cycling guide, well-known trailscout and director of the Bikeschule Bike+Event in Andermatt and Hans Bandi from Airolo, e-bike instructor and owner of the Tremola San Gottardo, the first Bed&bike in the region. To end the evening: a raclette at the Bar Après-Ski La Chièuna.

Meeting: 15.30 at the departure station of the Airolo-Pesciüm cable car

The package of the evening includes: A test ride, the Airolo-Pesciüm climb, the Fatbike ride with local guides, raclette (3 portions), drinks not included.

Cost: 

• CHF 78 per person with Fatbike rental
• CHF 45.- per person using their own Fatbike (minimum rubber size 4 inches)

Paths:

• Soft: Pesciüm- Nante- Airolo
• Strong: Sasso della Boggia - Ravina - Alpe Nuova - Nante- Airolo

Insurance: to be paid by the participants

Equipment:

• Warm clothing, gloves, good shoes and glasses
• Helmet and headlamp (mandatory)

Participants: from a minimum of 8 to a maximum of 20. Minimum age 14 years. Children only if accompanied by adults.

The event will take place depending on weather and snow. The slope must be compact.
