Early end of season for Airolo-Pesciüm

Valbianca SA informs that, due to the snow conditions and the particularly high temperatures of these and the coming days, the end of this complicated winter season will have to be anticipated to Sunday, March 27.

The deterioration of the snow conditions, due in particular to the high temperatures of these days, makes it impossible to continue the winter season. We are therefore forced to terminate prematurely this difficult and challenging winter season. The closure of the ski area is now scheduled for Sunday, March 27.

The rapid melting of the already scarce snow has also caused a clear deterioration of the slope conditions in the upper part of the ski area. Therefore, in order to ensure the safety of skiers, in these last days the opening of the sciliftone is limited and reduced only up to the height of the sciliftino.
