Grand Prix Migros ad Airolo Pesciüm
Preparations are in full swing for the organization of the only Ticino stage of the Grand Prix Migros, scheduled for Saturday, February 28, on the slopes of Airolo-Pesciüm.
The race, coordinated locally by the Airolo Ski Club in collaboration with Valbianca SA and with the help of around a hundred collaborators and volunteers, will once again bring hundreds of young athletes and their families, from Ticino and various cantons north of the Gotthard, to the Pesciüm slopes.
The race is open to all young skiers between the ages of 8 and 16, regardless of their skill level or affiliation with a club. Thanks to numerous activities organized by the main sponsor Migros, co-sponsors Stöckli, brack.ch, and kkiosk, as well as suppliers as Toko, Leki, Descente, and Giro, the children won’t have time to be bored after the race. The village, located at the Pesciüm middle station, will welcome them as every year with fun games and promotional stands. Additionally, all participants will receive a commemorative prize, a meal voucher, and a discounted ski pass.
Younger skiers (categories 2018 and younger) can participate in the "Mini Race," which takes place on a shorter course without a ranking. Each participant will receive a medal and a commemorative prize, and will then have fun taking part in various entertainment activities.
