Pesciüm Winter Skyrace 2023

A winter Skyrace in the heart of the Alps, along a dream course.

An amazing course in a breathtaking alpine environment. Fight to the last calorie of your body and challenge the others on the 16Km course (with 1300m of altitude difference) that includes the ascent of the legendary Varozzei black slope, which will take you up to 2250m on a 300m steep ramp with an absurd gradient. A race along the ski slopes of the most famous ski resort south of the Alps and from where great ski champions such as Michela Figini and Doris De Agostini set off to conquer the world.

The departure from the Airolo Valbianca cable car station allows everyone to easily reach this privileged location by public transport or private vehicles, just as the presence of hotels and accommodation facilities offers the possibility of staying overnight in the area. The race ends in the same place and a free ticket will allow you to reach Pesciüm, a renowned ski resort with many alternative activities during the winter period, where you can eat and watch the prize-giving ceremony before descending to the valley by cable car (or on foot) quickly and safely. The place is also easily accessible for those who wish to assist their loved ones or to watch the arrivals and cheer on the runners.
