Ravina: closed until Wednesday, Jan. 18
Valbianca SA announces that given the adverse weather forecast for the coming days and temperatures favorable to the use of the snowmaking system, the management has decided to close the Ravina sector until and including Wednesday, January 18.
Valbianca SA has deemed it necessary to take this decision in order to allow the technical managers to intervene in an important way in some critical points in order to guarantee a good snow base also for the continuation of the season.
These critical areas are located at points where passage is mandatory. The use of snow cannons in these areas therefore makes the closure of the slopes in the Ravina sector inevitable.
This decision will also allow snow groomers to move freely and quickly on the slopes so as to try to make possible the long-awaited opening of the chairlift starting next weekend. In fact, should temperatures remain low, it is conceivable that all lifts will be open from Saturday, January 21.
More information on weekend openings will be announced in the coming days.
