Summer kicks off on June 22!

SATURDAY 22 JUNE SEES THE OFFICIAL START OF THE SUMMER SEASON IN AIROLO-PESCIÜM

Valbianca SA is excited to announce that on Saturday 22 June the Airolo-Pesciüm lifts will officially reopen to the public for a new exciting season. Until 6 October, every day from 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. it will be possible to go up with the cablecar and enjoy the summer.

It will start with the Clean Up Tour on Sunday 23 June, but not to be missed is the eagerly awaited appointment with the only Ticino stage of the Swiss Enduro Series at the beginning of August (3 and 4 August).

As usual, there will be many proposals for all mountain lovers: hikers will be able to choose one of the wonderful trails, immerse themselves in the wilderness and discover an incredibly fascinating region located directly opposite the magnificent Gotthard massif, or take the cable car up to the slopes of the Sasso della Boggia where they can let themselves be enchanted by the panoramic swing and swing while admiring the splendid view. The Bike Park will finally open its doors to bikers who want to have fun on their MTBs: with its breathtaking trails, bumps and fun-filled parabolics, it is a true paradise for mountain bikers! There are trails suitable for both adrenaline junkies and the less experienced, with descents through obstacles and roots, allowing everyone to find what they are looking for. E-Bike enthusiasts, on the other hand, can explore the region comfortably thanks to routes designed for them. Please note that the MTB routes starting from Pesciüm are open for the time being, while those starting from Sasso della Boggia are still closed due to snow.

Cyclists and hikers will also be able to take advantage of the La Chièuna igloo bar, which will be waiting for everyone at the end of the day for an aperitif in good company.

Finally, the summer opening of the shop at the cable car departure point is confirmed, which will also make it possible to rent MTBs and e-MTBs suitable for visiting the area and the Bike Park.

The collaboration with enduro athlete Claudia Grassi, who will represent Airolo on the Swiss and international enduro scene, continues. Her experience, motivation and friendliness will help to promote the discipline and bring more people closer to mountain biking.
